Desperados Remix The Rules Campaign

Egypt is somewhat of a no-beerland when it comes to international tipples, so it's a big deal when Desperados decides to serve up in the land of the Pyramids (through Al Ahram Beverages). And it's an even bigger deal for MO4, when a brand globally famed for its cutting-edge marketing techniques and award-winning social media decides to go full-scale fun with us! 

Of course we were given an absurd deadline, with a 10 day turn around from conception to execution to meet the Eid nationwide launch date.  This is where the benefit of our unique in-house production model comes into play. In no time we had a full-scale production in the works, with our own MO4 DOP, cinematographers, photographers, art directors and director working round the clock to realize our creative department's vision. 

Late one night, our team, as well as over 100 extras, gathered in a villa on the outskirts of Cairo for the all-night (literally) shoot... 

Behind The Scenes... 


We conceptualized the #RemixTheRules social and creative platform, and the first post that went out showed the morning aftermath of the house party, before moving onto the peak of the night until the final launch post was released revealing a guy entering a laid-back house gathering with a few bottles of Desparados.

The video series culminated with the launch of the long-form (shown above). 

A series of visuals were also released as part of the campaign....

With the launch campaign done, it was the time for the real party to begin, and we've spent most of the summer sipping, shooting and story telling at a series of events across the North Coast...
