MO4 Network produced a mini-series which followed film Egyptian rappers Arsenik, Lege_cy, Mousv, Slyver, L5vav and Ziad Zaza on a journey to reconnect with the sounds of their hometowns and collaborate with local musicians.

The series was shot across the course of a month in six governorates Assiut, Tanta, Ismailia, Mansoura, Alexandria and Fayoum culminating in performances in each city ahead of a massive finale concert in Cairo in May.

Finally a 30 minute documentary was crafted showcasing the experiences of all the rappers.

Project: Red Bull Jamhoureya

The MO4 produced documentary series for Red Bull Jamhoureya saw follows four daring Egyptian musicians as they reconnect with their country’s distinct rural soundscapes. Traditions are scrambled and space and time merge as cutting-edge musical minds collaborate with those carrying the ancient heartbeat of Egyptian music.

Follow Egyptian electronic artists Fulltone, Hassan Abou Alam, Hussein El Sherbini and Maii Waleed as they visit Luxor, Aswan, Marsa Alam and Siwa. In each episode, the artists travel to the location of their choice within Egypt in order to work with local musicians, sampling sounds for future use and inviting the community’s artists into their studios, culminating in a collaborative concert.

Project: Mazzikla Salonat

In 2019 MO4 developed the concept and produced the first season for Mazzika Salonat, creating a blueprint for a show that has now reached viral status with its annual documentary series which pits two musicians in a room for 8 hours to try and make a track, under the theme of an ‘arranged marriage’ (gawazet salonat), where they don’t know who they’re about to meet.

Project: Weaving Eternity: The 150-Year Carpet Legacy of Kahhal Looms

Following the opening of the Kahhal Looms flagship store at the Grand Egyptian Museum, ‘Weaving Eternity’ is our special docu-feature showcasing a story that’s been 150 years in the making published on SceneHome

Project: The Rise of the Saudi Music Scene

Shot over two years, the MO4 produced documentary for MDLBEAST, published on SceneNoise highlights the resilience of the Saudi underground scene, where artists once struggled to gain recognition, battling misconceptions about Arabic hip-hop and other contemporary genres. Now, with platforms like MDLBEAST’s XP focusing on talent development, impact and innovation, Saudi creatives are gaining exposure both at home and abroad. Female artists, in particular, are finding mentorship and safe spaces through programs like Hunna, which aims to break through cultural barriers and support women in the arts.

Project: Scaling Sinai with Nelly Attar: An Eco Exploration of an Egyptian Gem

Beyond its dazzling antiquities, Egypt is home to a stunning wealth of natural sites that speak just as richly of the country as any museum or ancient temple, something that SceneTraveller is exploring exclusively in collaboration with Eco Egypt, a unique initiative that puts the spotlight on the country’s incredible protected areas.

As part of Eco Egypt’s efforts to educate, highlight and promote eco-tourism in Egypt, we invited UAE-based Lebanese influencer, athlete and avid explorer, Nelly Attar, to experience the magic of South Sinai for the first time.

From the incredible array of native flora and fauna, to the local Bedouin communities that live in harmony with the area, the trip took us to peaks of St. Catherine and into the depths of the Red Sea to discover a different side of Egypt that the world has yet to see.

إيه الشغل ده؟

From limestone quarries to circuses to zar ceremonies, MO4 Network produced ‘Eh Shoghl Da?’ six part documentary series published on ElFasla dives into the world of some of Egypt’s most fascinating occupations.

Project: Abyusif - The Documentary

He’s arguably the biggest name on Egypt’s bustling rap scene. A man that has, over the course of a decade, seen the ins and outs, the good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly of a rap scene that is the envy of the region.

From recording tracks in his wardrobe, to headlining sell-out gigs, Abyusif represents the elite of Middle Eastern rap. Behind the mask, though, behind his iconic sad-face logo, is Yousef Altay, a simple man forever at odds with the art form he loves and the fame that inevitably comes with it. In this exclusive documentary, SceneNoise goes into the home and into the mind of an often brilliant, always engrossing artist who never stands still.

Project: Kafr El-Duawar Records: Egypt's New Unlikely Goldmine of Rap and Shaabi

Underneath the smoggy skies of the Egyptian town of Kafr El Dawar, a quiet revolution is brewing. Known for little more than being one of the country’s biggest industrial cities, it is slowly emerging as the new centre of shaabi and rap music in their most original forms – a movement led ferociously and unapologetically by a ragtag, do-or-die collective of rappers, singers, producers and visual artists under the name of Kafr El-Dauwar Records.

SceneNoise dove deep into the abyss of a musical and artistic uprising that’s flourishing despite a distinct lack of resources and mainstream recognition. This is the new face of underground music in Egypt, the new sound of the marginalised. This is the story of KDR and its founding members

Project: Kafr El-Duawar Records: Egypt's New Unlikely Goldmine of Rap and Shaabi

Since debuting in 2017, Art d'Egypte has become the quintessential platform to showcase the dexterity, vision and expressiveness of contemporary Egyptian artists.

In a region that continues to create mesmerising and spellbinding art, MO4 Network has been committed to telling the story of burgeoning artists that continue to defy expectations on a global scale, through our online publications CairoScene, Scene Arabia, El Fasla & Scene Noise. As Art d'Egypte's main media partner, we have been able to highlight the mesmerising creations by exhibiting artists each year, all set amidst Egypt's glorious historic locations, such as the Egyptian Museum (2017), Al Manial Palace (2018) and Al Mu'iz Street (2019).

Watch the documentary of the making of the inaugural exhibition 'Eternal Light', with founder Nadine Abdel Ghaffar taking you through the story of the thriving art platform's inception.

Project: For The People & The Planet

Ahead of the signing of the 2023-2027 UN sustainable development cooperation framework (UNSDCF) with the Arab Republic of Egypt, this film produced by MO4 Network offers a short glimpse into the commitment in achieving the sustainable development agenda through collaboration and partnership.

Project: Aswan Forum

MO4 Network was entrusted as the sole and official storyteller of the inaugural Aswan Forum, creating and publishing exclusive content in REAL-TIME across all of their digital platforms. The esteemed event gathered eminent continental and international leaders, policy makers, thought leaders and policymakers, and create the space for nuanced dialogue of Africa's most pressing issues, all happening amidst the mesmerising city of Aswan. Narrated by Egyptian actress and UNICEF goodwill ambassador Mona Zaki.

Project: Narcos S3

MO4 Network were asked to produce a campaign that promoted Narcos season 3 launching to the region. The result? A mini-film that followed an Egyptian Pablo Escobar wannabe who finds himself stuck in a rehab with people addicted to Netflix shows…

Project: E-Pace

Full throttle storytelling for our client Jaguar. For the launch of the #EPace MO4 Network recruited a selection of renowned industry professionals to shoot a series of dramatic copies that positioned the new range within their luxury, high paced lifestyles including the likes of architect Hany Saad.

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT

As one of the first social media agencies in the Middle East, MO4 was born and bred to create and manage engaging, timely (thanks to our full in-house production team) and ultimately impactful content across social platforms. We have managed the accounts for hundreds of the world’s biggest brands.

Project: Nogoum El Mahragan

Stella’s Nogoum El Mahragan platform, a hub for the distinctly Egyptian music genre that has woven itself into the very fabric of our contemporary culture. We filled the Nogoum El Mahragan feed (as well as the Stella Egypt pages) with interviews, reviews and mini-docu-features spotlighting the scene’s biggest players.

Project: Tut or Mish Tut?

MO4 Network were given a brief to create a name for two new Fanta products. The flavour? Well one is berry, and the other is something between bubblegum and “no f*cking clue” and thus ‘Toot We Mesh Toot’ was born! This was followed with a fully-fledged digital campaign that includes production of three thematic copies and an accompanying social media strategy of 3D renders more trippy than any kaleidoscope.

Project: Garage at W Hotel, Abu Dhabi

Our relationship with Marriott International goes way back. Over the last 10 years we’ve told great big stories - creating and managing the social content - for multiple properties in their portfolio. Most recently we’ve been tasked with a mammoth regional project which sees us putting 15 new Marriott F&B outlets across the Middle East on the digital map. The brief was irresistible - “do whatever you want but make it awesome.” Talk about a dream client! In the last quarter we’ve launched a restaurant in Qatar and another in Dubai and most recently Garage at the W Hotel on Yas Island Abu creating a colorful cacophony of content.

Project: Downtown Cairo

When Al-Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment—behind Downtown Cairo's sweeping renovations and over 23 property acquisitions—approached us, we crafted one of our proudest strategies. It was a chance to take a bold risk, think outside the box, and tell Downtown Cairo's authentic story. Instead of simply selling on social media, we regenerated interest in the city’s heart, where Al-Ismaelia’s massive projects had gone unnoticed. That’s how @DowntownCairo’s accounts came to life, quickly drawing attention with raw, relatable content. Once the client embraced the idea, we launched a successful social media journey. Today, Downtown Cairo’s Instagram and Facebook accounts have hundreds of thousands of followers, making Wust El Balad trendy again, steeped in nostalgia—exactly what the client envisioned.

Project: ZED

MO4 Network took over the social media creative and management for real estate giant Ora Developers. Their premier project ZED was launching offering various residential projects across Egypt, such as ZED East and ZED El-Sheikh Zayed, which are known for their luxurious living spaces and comprehensive sports and entertainment facilities.

MO4 was tasked to develop a social strategy that seamlessly communicates a vast array of USPs across several real estate projects to appeal to the lifestyles of A+ HNWI whilst ensuring to create engaging content with specific sales announcements and objectives.

Over the course of two years we grew ZED’s social media presence (now @oraegypt) to the most engaged with and followed real estate page in Egypt.

Project: Ramadan

That time MO4 Network revolutionized Ramadan advertising in Egypt by shifting Coca-Cola from traditional big-budget TV ads to a fully digital, purpose-driven strategy. Unlike competitors like Pepsi and Vodafone, Coca-Cola redirected its TV budget to charity and relied solely on social media for engagement. Weeks into Ramadan, curiosity about Coca-Cola's absence peaked, leading to a strategic digital launch featuring a single TV spot directing audiences online. The campaign showcased inspiring stories of real Egyptians defying stereotypes, culminating in the #ثانية_تفرق activation, where every social post with a symbolic gesture pledged 1 LE to developing rural villages. The campaign went viral, achieving over 9 million post reach and participation from influencers, celebrities, and the public, redefining advertising during Ramadan.

Project: Launch Campaign

To launch Egypt’s new gourmet supermarket The Grocer MO4 Network brought in Egypt’s beloved actress Sherine Reda for a launch copy that positioned The Grocer as a disruptor in the current market providing an elite shopping experience with an edge.

Project: Let’s Be Different Together

The Tap quickly became one of Cairo’s favorite watering holes with it’s quirky space filled with vintage game arcades, pint machines and constant live entertainment. We launched their pages with a series of animalistic, surreal artworks and branding before producing a shoot and video under our hashtag #LetsBeDifferentTogether.

The content followed four friends dressed in massive animal heads having a big lads night out whilst highlighting the different nights that make up The Tap – going crazy performing on the stage, playing beer pong, watching football, dancing and drinking till they can’t stand. Reeking havoc in the best way possible.

Project: Double Chocolate

When all hell breaks loose, chomp on a Mega and the whole world disappears. For Mega's latest campaign to launch their double chocolate flavor we recruited famed actor Karim Kassem to re-enact his real life stressful moments on set.

MO4 has been working with various brands within the Nestle portfolio for over a decade on both social media strategy, digital creative and content production.

Project: I Am A Machine

For the launch of Go Spot’s multi-sport apparel and equipment brand in Egypt MO4 recruited several top athletes to develop a high octane roll-out of visual content to be posted across social media

Project: Uber Valentine’s

In 2015 MO4 Network became the first agency globally to be awarded the social media marketing account for any UBER account in the world! Straight off the bat in typical fashion we went off to create a series of authentic posts for the transportation behemoths that expressed all the key values UBER had been trying to communicate to this virgin market, educating Egyptians on what it means to have the power to get from A to B, immediately and safely, anywhere, in their hands.

In the period we took over, monthly active UBER users grew 6213% within that year making Egypt the fastest growing market for new users in the world. As the application's popularity grew UBER became available in other parts of Egypt, both big cities (Uber Alex) and holiday destinations (Uber TokTok in Gouna and Uber Sahel) and we traveled with them wherever they went to make sure people knew about it (and get a tan).

We've also been working hand in hand creating localized content to promote and covering their ever innovative regular out-the-box activations including for Valentine’s Day…

Project: Golden Hour

For our client jewelry brand Pandora, we opted to strike that cord of ingenuity, assembling a troop of incandescent - and somewhat camera shy - artists to don the Pandora Rose collection. With a spark of madness here and a stroke of genius there, these talented women confidently unleashed their creativity with the mesmerizing flare of the most amorous hour of the day: The Golden Hour.

The brief demanded fresh young faces filmed aesthetically in a location that could pass for any Arab country (so that the content could work regionally). So basically the exact type of content we make everyday before breakfast, which was probably what our long-standing clients music streaming platform Anghami were banking on when they asked us to create this snackable digital copy to promote their rebranding.

Project: NOFOMO

MO4 Network was commissioned by entertainment powerhouse MDLBEAST to develop Saudi Arabia’s first comprehensive platform for all things Saudi Arabian nightlife - the wheres, whens, whats and hows of every event worth going to.

A young and edgy digital hub related to party culture in a Kingdom going through a very public cultural shift (which we may have a little bit of experience in) we’re consulting on strategy (we did after all write the regional playbook for this type of content!), overseeing the platform management and having a little too much fun producing the daily content from memes to party guides to coverage.

Project: Red Bull Athletes

MO4 Network delved into Red Bull’s TikTok strategy creating snackable content showcasing their official Red Bull athletes with the likes of basketball pro Nadine Selaawi, handball player Yahya El Deraa, footballer Taher Mohamed Taher, squash player Mohamed El Shorbagy and more. It was a social slam dunk with videos garnering millions of views.

Project: Alieia

MO4 Network were tasked with launching luxury dining brand ACL gourmet Greek culinary experience by the sea in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. We developed a series of sultry content inspired by the city’s location and menu which quickly attracted tens of thousands of followers ahead of the establishment's public launch event.

The SODIC/IMAGINE campaign invited the public to design their dream future living spaces on a dedicated website, with AI generating personalized visualizations for each user. To enhance the campaign, MO4 PR engaged individuals from the creative, design, and tech industries to share their own visions of future living. We produced a series of interviews with high-profile creatives where participants discussed their ideas before seeing their AI-generated designs, encouraging viewers to create their own on the SODIC platform. The content was featured on SceneHome, MO4 Media’s platform for lifestyle, real estate, and architecture, reaching a highly relevant audience. Additionally, MO4 PR collaborated with AI artists to share their own designs and inspiration, further engaging audiences and directing traffic to the campaign’s website.

The night ended with a musical showcase at The Museum, Zamalek, with performances by Juno, Chiati, and Saudi DJ Vinyl Mode.

Project: Urban Picnic

MO4 Network developed the Urban Picnic concept, originally as an activation for Jameson Whiskey, as an opportunity to gather together Cairo’s ‘cool kids’ for a laid back day-time party atmosphere. The setting was MO4’s own ‘Unicorn Garden’ rooftop overlooking Downtown Cairo. The party went on to reach legendary status with seven more Urban Picnic’s taking place before Covid, bringing together a who’s who from Cairo’s creative community for an unforgettable experience each time.

Project: Netflix & Chills

MO4 Network created a pop up cinema at our ‘Unicorn Garden’ venue overlooking Downtown Cairo for Netflix featuring life-size mock ups of scenes from the streaming platform’s horror series. A spooktacular guestlist was invited to indulge in a private screening of their latest show.

Project: Opening Party

There’s nothing we love more than scouring out a sexy new venue, in this case the luscious Lucida, stocking up the bar, turning up the music, and gathering some of Cairo’s weird, wonderful, and wild creatives to JUST HAVE FUN. On this particular occasion, ‘twas the night before the 2023 edition of Creative Industry Mena the biggest and best gathering of creatives in the region - and as the event’s official media partners we felt it best behoves us to make sure everyone pre-gamed in style with a precocious pre-party.

Project: Cipriani x Lamborghini

For one extraordinary weekend, MO4 Network curated a seamless #MyCipriani experience for thirteen of the Emirates' boldest personalities, blending luxury and sophistication. From bespoke Cipriani trunks, House of Nomad outfits, and private Seawings flights to sleek Lamborghinis and drag racing at Yas Marina Circuit, every moment was meticulously designed. Guests were pampered with Le Soie Cosmetics and Huda Beauty, enjoyed sunset cruises by Azure Marine, and dined in Italian-style elegance adorned with La Marquise Diamonds. The weekend culminated in a sun-soaked finale at Saadiyat Beach Club, showcasing experiential storytelling at its finest.

Project: Dolato x SceneEats for Cairo Food Week

As the official media partner of Cairo Food Week, SceneEats hosted a decadent Gelato party with Dolato, transforming a District 5 warehouse into a whimsical wonderland. Designed by Karim El Hayawan and Nehal Lehata of Design Point, with ice cream-themed projections by Hannah Patten, the Dolato Gelato Lab was pure magic. Guests sampled Dolato's new sugar-free treats before heading to the EATS room, where STZ spun 90s tunes and ‘scenegrias’ by Beausoleil and energy from Red Bull Egypt kept the party buzzing.

Project: Open Your City

Men of the World KOLs were chosen to opt out out of the obvious and explore Egypt through an unseen lens, all the while sharing their visual story on Instagram with the hashtags #OpenYourCity and #HeinekenEgypt.

Equipped with a travel bag, a map, a GoPro to document their adventures and a plane ticket, our travellers wandered off the beaten track as each of them touched down in a different city across Egypt; Cairo, Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh, Aswan, Luxor and Hurghada.

What ensued was a discovery like no other (even better than Indiana Jones).

Project: 35 Year Anniversary Event at GFF

MO4 invited a stunning guestlist to celebrate Concrete’s 35 Years of Egyptian Craftsmanship at El Gouna Film Festival

Project: Alila Jabal Akhdar Launch Trip
